Situated at mile 38.8 of the Bulkley Subdivision, the 43 Car Bulkley Siding was initially decommissioned as a siding in the 1960 CNR Freight Timetable. Although it continued to be a valid location in the timetable, prior to the completion of this project, it served merely as a minor backtrack for equipment storage.
The project encompassed the construction of three large shotcrete retaining walls, which were backfilled using pit-run material. Our comprehensive understanding and proficiency in material and compaction testing contributed to achieving the project's required Standard Proctor Densities (SPD) and material gradation.
